
Once again, we are talking about writing communities. As ThePublishingSpot grows, I'm trying to build a bit of a writing community. Instead of treating blogs and web pages like soapboxes, writers need to turn virtual spaces into community parks. For a good example, check out Trevor Butterworth's blog based on his The Financial Times story about bloggers. Both Pang and Butterworth published pieces with countless critics, but they used the web to create this amazing community dialogue. It's time to burn the soapboxes and start listening to other people...
