Know More: Fan Fiction, Harry Potter, Online Publishing 2.0, Online Publishing

Thanks to Britannia (my inside source at Harry Potter Fan Fiction and guide through this sprawling corner of the writing universe), I offer a few helpful links for writers interested in finding out more about the genre:

First of all, the Harry Potter Lexicon includes an encyclopedic jumble of information about everybody's favorite wizard, including: fan essays, original artwork, maps, and my favorite, a detailed analysis of J.K. Rowling's website.

Next, Britannia suggests Mugglenet, a stylish Harry Potter news site with plenty of speculation about the films, interviews, polls, and fan forums. The comments section is hopping with hundreds of readers every day.

Missy Merlin published Dr. Merlin's Guide to Fanfic, a helpful guide to the basic rules of fan fiction--more than enough guidance to launch a thousand Harry Potter fan fiction careers.

Finally, some people say I look like Harry Potter...
