With one cup of Instapundit crispness, one cup of madcap exuberance, and three cups of the professional street cred of an industry expert like Shel Israel, Prince Campell's ramblings deserve to be batted around in the newspapers.
Even better, Dan Mitchell's article in the NY Times took the ball and ran with it, showing how blogs and newspapers can have some amazingly productive discussions. Three cheers for everybody involved...
"Mr. Campbell wields superlatives in a particularly bloggish manner at chartreuse.wordpress.com. "Broadcast television is dead," he declares. "Just like the Internet killed the music industry, it's about to do the same thing to broadcast TV."
Never mind that "American Idol" draws about 30 million viewers, that MSNBC is a cable, not a broadcast, network, and that, while the music business may be wounded, it is far from dead. Still, despite the bluster, Mr. Campbell's underlying point is true enough."

So now we know who is behind the curtain! The wizard is Prince Campell.
And just like Dorothy, we probably already have the power within ourselves to find the way, but it is helpful to have the yellow brick road pointed out to us (sometimes bluntly) by Chartreuse.
Hope you keep finding our network relevant, Mr. Campell!
