I spent the weekend hiking in Cold Springs, New York. Next weekend, I'm headed to L.A. for a weekend vacation. Needless to say, my brain is floating away, thinking about little birdies, Spring flowers, and beach vacations instead of blogging.But then, I discovered this wonderful, quiet blog that lets you have poetic thoughts while still typing away in the blogosphere. Liz Elayne launched a new feature last February called Poetry Thursdays. The project has already created a blooming community of writers looking to share poetic thoughts. "An invitation to write a poem. Yes, you. Write. A. Poem. An invitation to look at the world from another's perspective. An invitation to let words resonate within you."
