Following my on-going discussion with Stephen Elliott, I'm exploring some Elliott-approved political and literary blogs for new readers.

Go spend some time at The Huffington Post, a blogging clearinghouse that took off last year. Specifically, they gave Elliott a couple pages to talk about LitPAC. Generally, they have become a busy hub for political writers on the Internet...

KatieG over at Innisfree is another friend of Elliott, most recently volunteering on his LitPAC project. This "pseudo journalist" writes passionate and W.B. Yeats-influenced analysis of the news.

Check out the Schiavoni Files, where a political-minded blogger reflects on his life. This activist lives in San Francisco, but has worked in Amman, Jordan and Washington D.C. too--giving his commentary a unique twist...
