Artist Laurenn McCubbin has a sharp-looking site that combines all sorts of cool media with a dash of politics. McCubbin has built a web community after working with some of the best comic book and literary writers in the world.
Start with this quote from her site, and see where the links take you. The Jesus' General blog is literary in a way you wouldn't expect, writing in a genre you probably didn't know existed--the faux straight man conservative blog satire. These guys offer immensely popular commentary that exposes the sillier side of punditry.
