Continuing our Stephen Elliott-led exploration of the political side of the web, here are some unconventional links for your reading pleasure.

Artist Laurenn McCubbin has a sharp-looking site that combines all sorts of cool media with a dash of politics. McCubbin has built a web community after working with some of the best comic book and literary writers in the world.

Start with this quote from her site, and see where the links take you. Good places, I promise: "The Sexy Chix Anthology from Dark H orse hits the streets today -you can get it off their site, from Amazon, or from your friendly local retailer. I have a story in there with Joyce Carol Oates, so snap it up, yo. Also available is Stumbling and Raging, the political anthology in which I have a comic that I did with Stephen Elliot. The Jesus' General blog is literary in a way you wouldn't expect, writing in a genre you probably didn't know existed--the faux straight man conservative blog satire. These guys offer immensely popular commentary that exposes the sillier side of punditry.
