After exploring the world of zines with Jenna Freedman, I turned up some multimedia links that bring zines and librarians together.

Greig Means published the definitive text in this area, a little publication called Zine Librarian Zine.

Means has become a librarian and zine luminary in Portland, Oregon. I managed to dig up this interview with MediaGeek.

In a speech at the Madison Zine Fest, the radical librarian Sanford Berman answered the question, "How did ZINES finally get established as a bona fide Library of Congress subject heading?" dishing some great zine history at the same time...

NPR recently noticed librarian zinesters, interviewing Miriam DesHarnais of the Baltimore Public Library, Benn Ray from Atomic Books, and Davida Gypsy Breier from Xerography Debt.
