My Ears Are So Happy Right Now

I literally wasted days and days and days of my childhood playing simple text-based TI-99 Adventure videogames in my basement. They combined the interactive thrills of Choose Your Own Adventure with the mysterious promise of computers.

Nowadays, I literally waste days and days and days of my adulthood listening to old time radio dramas on MP3's. So imagine my surprise when one of my favorite writers, Jim Munroe over at No Media Kings, has built an MP3 Interactive Radio Drama for the iPod.

I listened to the first installment, and I am JAZZED. I will not rest until I get us an interview with one of the creators of this game.

Plant it now, dig it later...

"Thanks to various sites, I’ve been enjoying the old time radio drama on my MP3 player. Almost a year ago I was struck with the idea that it would be interesting to make a kind of audio drama that took advantage of the MP3 player, to turn it into a kind of primitive interactive story."
