"Jupiter Research released an RSS report recently that says 71% of site operators are currently spending 500k or more per year on RSS, despite the fact that very few of their customers know what the hell it is, and nobody's really sure how to analyze the data.
In an attempt to address that problem, at least in part, Pheedo released its so-called "Pheed Read" yesterday, which presents data on what their clients are doing with RSS."
Someday, when somebody makes this technology simple as a television remote, RSS subscriptions will be the lifeblood of the web. In the meantime, the survey explained that the most sucessful categories in RSS advertising are humor, travel, and family-- prompting me to pitch my own feed with a cross-marketed post-title...
