"i think you have to distinguish between mommy bloggers (i hate that term!) and mama zinesters. it's a pretty different aesthetic. my zine is definitely different from my blog."
Greenberg knows what she's talking about. She runs the Fertile Ground Zine and is also a popular blogging mother living in Tennessee. Her bio page contains an extensive list of webby and zine-y links.
These two different publishing models create different kinds of community, and I'd love to hear from both sides. Our visiting author, Jenna Freedman, took a crack at the zine/blog distinction in this forceful essay, Zines Are Not Blogs.
