Over at Upside-Down Hippopotamus, a blogger named David has taken stock of his life in his four-year-old blog. Come for the crisp writing, stay for the smart, observant jokes like this one:
"Rob had flashbacks to the point in his career when he served as an assistant to four creative directors at an ad agency, two of whom habitually wore capes. That is a very high cape to no-cape ratio for the modern world."
Then check out Walky Talky, the musings of a nerdy coder and blogger named Matthew Caldwell who delivers whiz-bang sentences like this anti-spam philosophy lesson:
"Imagine if these villains of the blogiverse were imbued with the full rapacious armoury of a real pestilence, genuinely adaptive and smart, rather than being mere meretricious toys constructed by lazy, greedy, amoral losers...If they were that keen to co-opt our systems for evil, perhaps we could co-opt theirs for good?"
