The Complete Blogged MFA Experience®
PICT0354.JPGThis morning, Jeffrey Yamaguchi pointed me towards a great site run by a fellow Brooklyn-living writer. Over at After the MFA, Gordon Hurd asks the toughest question facing creative writing graduates: "What do I do now?"

He knows what he's talking about:

"Most of the time, your stories really do suck. Unfortunately, no one has the nuts to tell you so. No one but yourself. Rewrite some more."

Hurd's site is a reality-check. MFA's are expensive, life-changing events that should be weighed carefully before you sign up. Now, you can explore The Complete Blogged MFA Experience® through my trademarked historical nomenclature...

Tom Kealey rules the "Pre-Workshop Period."

The Clarion Workshop bloggers dominate the "Workshopping Period."

Gordon Hurd commands the "Post-Workshop Period."
