Can't decide whether you have a novel you want to make into a movie or a movie you want to make into a novel?

Here at The Publishing Spot, you really can have it both ways!

Next week we will focus on the art of making a novel out of a movie script. I'm interviewing Christa Faust, a "novelization" expert who adapted Final Destination III and A Nightmare on Elm Street II into novels--supporting herself while she worked on her own novels.

Then today I found MediaBistro's great post about the art of turning your novel into a movie. Mystery novelist Rob Loughran tells the story of his long, strange attempt to write a script based on his own work.
