From now on, we will only pay attention to writers who actually make things happen on the web.
Case in point: my buddy Adam B. Ellick. He has the perfect combination of journalism chops and new media smarts. Adam built his career on freelance foreign reporting, and now works in the new media wing of the New York Times.
Today, Adam produced this video piece to accompany C.J. Chivers' devastating story about police brutality in Chechnya.
I love the dramatic narration video style that Chivers has developed, but more importantly, I think everybody needs to read this story...

Adam B. Ellik is presented as an integrated journalist who during years traveled and wrote stories. Now he decided to use website for sharing things he met along his way. He knows very well how to do this.
