Writing anthologies are booming right now--from The Best American Short Stories to Chicken Soup for the Skinny Writer Guy with Glasses--and our old buddy Erika Dreifus just wrote a fact-filled, link-heavy essay about the genre.

You can check it out in the newest edition of The Practicing Writer's Newsletter, which is also, coincidentally, chock full of writing contests. The only catch is, you need to sign up for her newsletter to get it.
