Some Good News and Some Bad News

Two things to read before you scamper off on your weekend. First, the good news.

As usual, Jeffrey Yamaguchi has a great new project to show us. It reminded me of the most important thing a writer can do: WRITE EVERY DAY! Check it out:

"Summer Pierre has got a very cool project going on at her site, an inspiring challenge to herself: A Something, An Anything for 30 Days. She's creating an image a day (featuring wonderful stories) on an 8.5 X 11 piece of paper with a felt-tip pen."

Then, the bad news.

In more Village Voice fallout, Edward Champion has a great tribute to the work of Ed Park--reminding us of what the world is losing while the weekly chops away at the staff.
