The problem I found I got with the email newsletters is that I started subscribing to too many of them and they began flooding my inbox! Besides, I started to get bored with them because there were just too many of them.
This is why I prefer RSS feeds and those stuff, really. And right now I'm only subscribed to, like three email newsletters; those newsletters which contain information unavailable elsewhere on their site.
