
For fledgling writers without a strong base of readers, how well you tell stories to a crowd of strangers can be just as important as how you write your stories on paper.
Tony D'Souza told me that he built his reading tour from scratch when he published his first novel. "Nobody's going to help you during that first book tour," he said, "You'll have to do it yourself." When it comes to building a reading community, you have to master the art of meeting people.
Luckily for us, writer and blogger Susan Henderson just asked her readers for some advice about book tours and meeting people. She received sixteen pieces of beautiful advice from her readers.
