How To Use Skullduggery In A Sentence
Last night I spent fifteen minutes of perfectly good writing time trying to think of a word to describe bad Chinese food. I ended up going with "gooey." But I'm not the first writer to get hung up on finding the most vivid word for a sentence. Most normal people use a thesaurus. Today, we have a new option.
Wordie is a website where word-lovers around the world group words together in easy-to-find categories like "Adjectives for Bad Chinese Food," creating topical clouds of fascinating words. So far my favorite categories are pseudointellectualism  and the all-important skullduggery.

Thanks to Ed Champion and the site Books, Words & Writing for the link. No writer will ever choose the wrong word again.  Dig it:

"Wordie lets you make lists of words -- practical lists, words you love, words you hate, whatever. You can then see who else has listed the same words, and talk about it. It's more fun than it sounds ... please let me know if I can do anything to facilitate a project. Wordie suggestions and bug reports always appreciated (via email or my profile)."
