Today Jeffrey Yamaguchi--a zen master blogger compared to our sprawling posts--introduced me to the elegant site, Making Happy.

For the last four years, the writer and gardener Gayla Trail has published a picture along with a short short story relating to the image. Nothing more, nothing less. Her archives are entrancing.

"I try and post a new picture everyday. Sometimes these pictures are accompanied by words relating to the image or random thoughts from my mind. These are by no means my BEST pictures. I chose what to post here more on a whim rather than as a need to feature The Best. I LOVE film and square photos."
