I, for one, am overjoyed to see this weekend arrive. I'm going to relax and try and write a storytelling story. Why don't you join me?
My friends at the The Antagonist Art Movement will be hosting the Fahrenheit reading on this Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the Black & White bar.
The reading will feature special guest readers from the pages of Smith Magazine, including Anna Lappe, Mary Elizabeth Williams, and the dominatrix diarist, Mistress Y. The show begins around 9:00 at Black & White, located at 86 10th Street, New York, New York (between 3rd and 4th Avenues).
It's always a great real-world way to meet new writers and readers. Take advantage of the holiday weekend! Check it out:
"If you need inspiration, the theme for the night is string theory. Since string theorists want to unify everything into a big mystical equation, you can write about anything you want."
Also, on Monday evening at 7pm, on the second floor of Mo Pitkin's House of Satisfaction, 34 Avenue A, between 2nd & 3rd Street, the Readers' Room will feature "the world debut of Heather Greer’s graphic novel, multi-media extravaganza, SPLINTERS MOSAICS AND SHARDS."
