Heads up, flash fiction fans...
Last week I met Katherine Sharpe who founded 400 Words, a journal dedicated to 400-word short, short non-fiction. She'd dedicated a whole paper and virtual magazine to the task of telling your autobiography in 400-words or less.
I experimented with the form a little bit over the weekend, and I'll tell you what--it's tough and addictive. I always prescribe flashy, short-short story writing to crack a case of writers' block.
Go check out the most recent themes and share your story...
"I checked my email inbox yesterday, there’ve been over 200 ‘work’ stories submitted so far ... In the meantime, please keep on sending your autobiographies, stories about work, stories about breakups."

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the boost! You should totally send me what you wrote, BTW. ;)
