What am I thankful for?
I'm thankful for you reading this blog. I'm thankful for my thousandth post, my friends in my blogroll, and the amazing time that a holiday weekend gives you--letting me chill out for a couple days. I'll be back on Monday with new posts.
In the meantime, Susan Henderson asks who is your shoulder to cry on--go plug your answer into her comments section. My answer is the lovely Caitlin Shamberg. I'm thankful for her too.
Susan also has a great guest blogged interview with an up-and-coming novelist at LitPark. Dig it:
"The books that raise the bar... Sons and Other Flammable Objects (Grove Atlantic, 2007) is one of those books, and I’m delighted to share the author with all of you this week. Porochista Khakpour is one amazing woman, with a debut that gave me a good shaking by the lapels and left me with a very happy smirk on my face."
