What a week we've had, brothers and sisters.
I'm too tired to even figure out an April Fools' Day joke to pull on my dad (who sent me a fake letter from the pope inviting me to Rome for a writing contest when I was in fifth grade--an April Fools' Day joke that I still, to this day, have not been able to top or forgive). If you have any ideas, leave them in the comments. I'll give you full credit, I promise.
Nevertheless, I'm still keeping an eye on the literary Internets for you. First of all, Ed Champion has been reporting some AMAZING stories today. He will undoubtedly receive the lit-blog Pulitzer for all the news he broke today.
In other exciting news, Jeff VanderMeer choose today to launch the anthology that will undoubtedly sweep the science fiction awards shows next year. SQUIDPUNK! Heed my words: this faux trailer has more energy and enthusiasm than ten average book trailers put together.
Finally, I wanted to point you towards Blogging In Boxers, a webby writing site with some useful advice from one of our oldest friends in the Internets.
